Regarding domestic alarms used at home, they have a wired or wireless system. Basically, they are available under three categories. To better secure your home, you should know that each alarm system has personal characteristics. So there are different ways to turn off a house alarm. You will find out more about the subject later in this article.
Deactivation of the home alarm from the alarm center
To deactivate an alarm you have several options. One of them is to deactivate the alarm from the control panel. Please note that if you choose this option, you will not have access to full protection mode on the home control panel. So, to access it, you can use the remote control or a badge reader.
On the other hand, if you plan to deactivate the house alarm in partial protection mode, you will only have to press the key which is presented as an open padlock. The key is located between the five symbols mentioned in the central square of your equipment.
As soon as you click on the padlock, the symbol will start to flash. This means that the protection mode has been activated. And to stop it you just have to press the corresponding icon. You can check my reference to get more information to use.
Deactivating the home alarm from the access badge reader
This solution is much more convenient than the first one, which makes it the most popular for disabling the home alarm. By using a badge reader, you will be able to turn your alarm system on or off with a single gesture. The advantage here is that you won't have to rethink the code every time or type it in.
In fact, to stop the alarm you will only have to present your badge to the reader. As soon as the action is taken, the edge of the reader will light up green for half a second. During this time, the reader will first check the validity of the badge before finally deactivating the alarm.
On the other hand, if you see the outline of the reader flashing red, that means the badge is not valid. Finally, you should know that this alarm deactivation mode is possible through the RFID technology.
